GREEN JOBS + ECONOMIC IMPACT

FACT: The fastest-growing jobs in America last year were wind technician and solar installer.

So what does this mean? 

It means that Texas can either be the leader of the energy transition or it can bury its head in the sand and miss out on big economic opportunities.

We choose jobs. We choose climate action. We choose a clean Texas with less pollution and more economic opportunity.

The Texas Advanced Energy Business Alliance (TAEBA) documented 254,000 clean energy jobs in Texas in 2019.

There are as many energy efficiency jobs in Texas as oil and gas jobs. TAEBA found a $55b investment in Texas would yield 2 million jobs, $14b in annual customer savings, and $18b in annual local and state tax revenue.
