A different future for Texas is possible. A stronger and fairer economy goes hand in hand with tackling climate change. Rather than depend on the dying oil and gas industry, we can invest in renewable energy and good-paying jobs. Instead of polluting our communities and destroying our natural resources, we can work towards healthier air, cleaner water, and safer homes. Instead of careening towards disaster, we can lead the country in transitioning to a clean and just economy that centers workers and low-income communities of color.

We are the largest group of diverse organizations in Texas dedicated to taking action against climate change. We represent frontline communities, people of color, young people, climate experts - everyday Texans. Our work is rooted in local communities as we take collective action at the state level. We work to end racism, economic inequality, gender inequality, and health disparities - while addressing the climate crisis. Our movement is essential to make our elected leaders commit to securing green jobs, reducing emissions, and ensuring that all Texans can thrive.
TOGETHER WE MUST:
Create one million manufacturing, construction, and engineering jobs in the clean energy economy - including solar, wind, energy efficiency, transmission, electric vehicles, green storm infrastructure, and battery storage.
Ensure that these jobs pay people their fair share.
End environmental injustice: clean up polluting facilities and toxic sites that unfairly burden low-income communities and communities of color. Build back from natural disasters by prioritizing frontline communities.
